Here, I want to highlight the vicious cycles of food consumption. There are over 200,000 fast-food restaurants in America today. Our government provides lower class and poverty-weathered communities food purchasing programs, but no education on how to use these resources. This lack of education has opened up doors to unhealthy choices when purchasing food and lack of utilization to stay above poverty. In this article, I’ll be pushing forward the statistics and problems we see in our history up to now, as well as simple solutions for organizers.
