It’s been a while since I’ve found a reason to talk about anything other than politics. Today, I found episode one of “Electro Andes” by a creative studio. There’s not much to say—with some clients ranging from Nickelodeon, Nike, Riot Games, all the way to Sundance—the studio, Bellolandia is behind some of the most dynamic and bold visuals found in western animation. And we love both of those at Yumyoda.

Talk to me in Cyberpunk. I mean Black and Vibrant—give me a network hacking vampire and I’m sold. But don’t sleep on how easy I am, because if you’ve ever watched anything with me, you know, I nitpick everything “gravity doesn’t work like that,” “that was an interesting choice,” “I hope they didn’t spend a lot of money on this.” But gawd damn… I mean gawwwwwwdaaaaammmm this was a beautiful introduction of what I hope to be a complete story.

But you know how it is. I am still, yes STILL, hung up on Afro Samurai… albeit not cyberpunk… but fucking punk. Quality has a cost, and if doesn’t meet mainstream standards, the bills start stacking. One thing I’m hopeful for, and I’m sure you would agree—media entertainment is changing. The strings could be cut from corporate leeches and you would have more chance of finding footing today then you did just two years ago.

Ok…

Check out the trailer, then check out Episode one. More info and links below that.

Enjoy.
